let's work together

Your brain is telling you that you should “know better” when it comes to food.

You’ve read all the books, listened to all the podcasts, and have so many Reels saved it’s not even funny. Yet somehow food still feels really freaking hard and you realized that you can’t intellectualize your eating woes away. So annoying.

Lucky for you, I’m a fan of making eating easier
which means you can enjoy the finer things in life.

Nutrition Therapy

Helping food fade into the background.

Eating Disorders

Food has always been something you’ve been able to control. Eating healthy has always been a priority. But now it’s more hurtful than helpful, and you’ve been Googling “do I have an eating disorder?” hoping the answer is no.

Nutrition therapy helps explore the fear that letting go of food control means that you’re not good enough. It’s time to separate morality from how you nourish yourself.

Disordered Eating

Eating has never felt easy, which is annoying because so many other things in life have. There are so many good things happening, but you’re struggling to live life to the fullest because food thoughts are all-consuming and you can’t escape them from social media, magazines in the grocery store, and unsolicited comments from your family.

Nutrition therapy allows us to get to a place where you can choose something that sounds good and commit to it without going down a healthism rabbit hole.

Neurodivergence

Whether you are autistic, have ADHD or OCD, or you just suspect that your brain works differently, certain things might make eating extra difficult.

  • Planning meals
  • Grocery Shopping

  • Meal Prep
  • Deciding what flavor sounds good

Nutrition therapy = understanding your executive functioning & tailoring food choices to match how your brain works

Chances are, I’ve heard it before.

If you’re on any of the following journeys, it’s probably a sign for us to work together.

You’re a teen navigating food autonomy while being surrounded by food rules.

You’re an adult in pursuit of health while also being hyperaware of diet culture.

You’re recovering from an eating disorder and need someone who gets the food stuff.

Food is scattered, inconsistent, and difficult due to the way your brain works.

Your eating disorder is extra loud and you’re on the verge of needing a higher level of care.

You are on your parenthood journey and need support around perinatal care, chestfeeding, and talking to your kids about food.

Parent Coaching

Food anxiety is fully present, but now you have the mental load of being in charge of feeding someone else too. You want to foster a food-positive home and feel confident in feeding your family.

Parent coaching is a dedicated time for you, as the parent, to explore:
  • What to do if your kid is refusing foods. Do I actually cook a separate meal?
  • Food textures and exposures
  • How to talk change the narrative of “good food” and “bad food”

  • Teens, young professionals, and moms are some of my favorite people to work with!
  • Every person’s path to food freedom looks different, and I’m here to journey with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m about to start *insert new season of life*. Are we sure that it’s smart to add one more thing (nutrition therapy) to my plate?

Click here to return back to the questions

I might be biased, but this is the perfect time to start thinking about your relationship with food! Transitions are HARD - let me help take the stress of food off your plate (lol). Together, we will figure out what your priorities are as you start this new chapter- I can't wait to cheer you on along the way!

What ages do you work with?

Click here to return back to the questions

Technically all of them. If you are in high school or older, we can meet individually. For those younger than in high school (or who want the additional support of family!), I utilize parent/ caregiver coaching to make sure everyone in the fam is working together.

Do I have to be diagnosed with an eating disorder to work with you?

Click here to return back to the questions

Nope! In fact as a registered dietitian, I cannot diagnose you with an eating disorder. Whether you have a formal diagnosis from a mental health provider (like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, or OSFED) or if you just know you are struggling with food and want support, we can work together.

Do you offer sessions virtually?

Click here to return back to the questions

Yes! As of right now, my work is 100% virtual. A long term goal is to have an office in South Philly, but right now we meet from the comfort of your home / dorm / office!

What is your philosophy on nutrition?

Click here to return back to the questions

I believe that food should be a side character in the movie of your life. Food is vital, but everything else in life is so much more exciting! I want to help you move beyond food fixation and enjoy the rest of your life! I practice in a way that is trauma aware, neurodivergent affirming (no forced food exposures here!), and relational. I get to know who you are as a person, and together we make food work for you.
